 I also wanted to share with you M.'s year end report card that we received today. We were very happy with how she progressed in the last trimester of the year. I think Cogmed has been a big help for her. Her teacher reported improvements in her attentiveness and ability to follow directions. Even the gym teacher seems to have noticed! "M. did a much better job this trimester with being focused during our stretching routine. I am happy to see this improvement."  

 Julie, I'm kicking myself for not thinking to call you sooner! But I'm glad I did. R. has been more focused on her schoolwork than I've seen in months. Already she seems relieved and less anxious,  more hopeful and competent. My hope is that you can help her put strategies in place now and over the summer that will carry her through high school and beyond.

We had some good news from school yesterday. M.  completed her final timed math drill ahead of schedule. She was on three digit subtraction with regrouping. At the end of last trimester, she was behind schedule, so it's a big accomplishment for her to catch up and even move ahead! 

M. showed respect to her teachers and classmates today by coming to the line with a "peace and quiet" attitude.  She continued this all the way through snacktime.  Way to set a good example!

 She’s doing great. R. said her Bob books are becoming so easy for her. Every couple of books she will struggle a bit but then is great. I cannot tell you how much she is enjoying fast forward. She did an outstanding job yesterday. Flying fish was a struggle when she started and now she is flying through it. We have seen such an improvement in her overall performance and attitude since she started up again. Math she is excelling in. We still struggle with reading the numbers backwards but I think with her eye therapy we will see this improve with time. She’s reading the clock now.!It’s amazing how her little brain is working.!
